I bought this DVD player for my SUV from Amazon in February 2009. I could not obtain it installed by myself because the instructions that came with it were very confusing. I finally saved up the $200 for installation and I have taken this product to two professional installers and they told me that when they tested it, it won't play DVDs and it displays an "error" message. I am in the process of attempting to obtain my money wait on but to be unprejudiced, I am skeptical that I will be successful since it has been several months. I am so frustrated. The installers warned me that this happens quite often with DVD players bought online. I almost forgot to mention that I paid twice the amount that is being advertised for one.

It's cheap for a superb reason! This product simply proves the old-fashioned adage...You Obtain What You Pay For! Don't let the words "High Resolution" fool you, the recount quality is impartial unpleasant. Consume the extra money and fetch a camouflage that can actually be watched.

Have had the Pants Press for about a month now. It arrived well packaged, was very easy to assemble and works very well! I obsolete the free-standing set-up but it also came with hardware to mount the unit to the wall. For a guy who likes to contemplate elegant and pressed, but hates to iron this is the diagram to go. Set money on drycleaning bills as well. Over time I contain this product will pay for itself! Give it a try, you'll adore it!

This item has already more than paid for itself in my time and/or cleaning bills. In the morning, I can plunge a pair of pants into the press and then area it for 15, 30, or 45 minutes. When they're done, I pull them out and they survey like they've been professionally pressed. They only press the legs, so you won't accumulate creases out of the seat of the pants, but that's hardly a difficulty with a pair of pants off of a suit.

It took me a few tries to understand how to lay the pants completely flat (I would have pressed-in wrinkles in the beginning b/c I didn't understand what was REALLY flat inside the press, and what unprejudiced looked flat), but now it takes less than 30 seconds to win a pair of pants aligned properly and in position for pressing. My advice is to avoid having the pants legs too far towards the bottom of the press, and also to accomplish certain that the material on the inner leg is flat, which you can grunt by smoothing out the seams and pulling it tight towards the creases.

Great item and I would highly recommend.

The Corby 7700 is a very gentle pants press. It never reaches a high temperature and therefore it requires about 30 minutes to press my wool pants. It also doesn't salvage so hot that it will station a stain. I have installed mine onto my closet wall with the included mounting kit. It takes up distinguished less "true estate" this blueprint, and eliminates the cheap feeling plastc feet and also the jacket hanger, but as it's in my closet with my jackets that doesn't matter. The unit is made in England and seems well idea out and well constructed. A larger "cubby" for keys, wallet and change wouldn't have been amiss, but perhaps I cram too distinguished stuff into my pockets. It's a very suitable product at a reasonable trace.

I work at a hotel where we have 3 of these printers and ALL of them have the same problems. First, the paper frequently "jams" in that every 20-30 pages printed it stops printing because it detects a jam; when you originate up the paper tray, however, you come by a page that the printer has attempted to feed but failed - it's not even really jammed in the aged sense. The "dilemma" happens less often when the paper tray is elephantine so even though you can keep a whole ream of paper into it you have to possess it up constantly so it won't "pickle" as often. One other thing: when the pages feed out of the printer they do not find together anything discontinuance to neatly. After a few pages, the pile snappy becomes a jumbled mess with some pages almost coming off the pile. Do not steal this overpriced section of plastic.

I have had this printer for about a month. It was very easy to setup on our diminutive school network, I assigned it a fixed IP address to get it easier to rep and install on the 10 computers. I frail the HP network installation utility to construct an install program that each of the Windows XP and Windows 2000 pc's could expend to load/install and create the default print driver. Very straight forward. (I region it up to default to double sided printing to set paper) .

I downloaded the Vista PCL6 driver directly from HP and weak that driver on our 4 Vista pc's.

I estimate we will be printing a couple 1000 sheets a month. I decide this printer for a several reasons:

- Past experience with HP higher slay printers (my work uses them by the dozens) .

- Ability to Duplex print (double-sided) .

- Heavier duty than most of the 'bundled' printers that advance with a recent PC. This LaserJet can easily handle our printing load.

- Paper tray holds a beefy ream of paper (500 sheets)! We should not have half chunky reams laying around.

- Fairly speedily printing. Although using the duplex mode takes about 2.5 times the time to compose a single sided print. Estimate the first page in less than 10 seconds, then if single sided, a print every 2-3 seconds. In duplex mode, the page comes out about half design and then pauses for a couple seconds and it is pulled wait on into the printer and then is ejected out with the assist side printed on. Takes about 6-7 seconds to print both sides of a page. (These are normal word processing documents without sizable graphics) .

- Built in networking, the Jet-direct embedded print server is very easy to manage with a web interface. Also very easy to check on usage and toner level. Very helpful station and usage information, telling how many of which size paper and if single sided or double sided, error messages or paper spot logs etc. (So far no paper jambs or errors!) .

- Had a $450 instant rebate which carve the cost in half, very ample value for the money. Picked it up locally for the same ticket as Amazon had. Didn't have to wait for shipping and it was a sales tax-exempt capture.

- Amazon had one of the best prices for the agreeable HP toner kit, so I bought the toner from Amazon. You do come by what you pay for, so compare the P3005dn to other printers in the same designate range. This was a better deal than the HP P2015x.

- Printer came with one of the HP Q7551A toner kits ($110 value) . This toner should last 6500 pages (the fuller Q7551X cost almost twice as mighty and gives double the number of pages) . Double sided printing counts as 2 pages.

This was a friendly buy for my school. I will write another review after we have weak it for several months, maybe after the first toner change so I can plot the number of copies we got.

Before I bought this printer, I had a similar one (an HP2420) that began to mal-function after using it for about a year. I idea it was honest a "poor egg among a bunch", so I bought another one: this is a HP P3005. I bought this printer because it is a crude printer that fits in my shelf where I area it. After using it a few months it began to get a similar noise and problems as the previous one. After resetting it a couple of times it is collected working, but I would be cautious to seize another one of these models.

We recently bought a 5000 watt generator to power critical home appliances--this is if and when a power outage should occur.

To earn this convenient, we installed a Reliance transfer switch. (Mark that the Amazon description is unsuitable in regard that the Reliance Kit 31406CRK is actually rated at 7500 watts) .

We connected the switch to the house wiring just at the circuit box (as required) . We found installation of the generator transfer switch to not at all be difficult (only a rudimentary knowledge of electrical circuitry is required) .

When the electrical power from the grid is out, we can now support significant appliances (well pump, refrigerator, and lights) in operation by running them off of the generator. The transfer switch allows connecting 4 house circuits at 120 volts, and 1 house circuit at 240 volts; or 6 house circuits at 120 volts.

As a side designate, superb operation of sensitive electronic devices requires a elegant power supply. Consequently, when running off of a generator, devices like TV's and computers should additionally be connected to a protected outlet. Ideally, the new should pass through a line power conditioner that has a voltage regulator. (Tag that Tripp Lite sells a 600 watt line conditioner with voltage regulator for less than $100) . Another superb option for more safely operating electronic equipment when the grid is down would be through an DC-to-AC inverter.

All-in-all we earn the 5000 watt generator combined with the Reliance transfer switch (the kit) to comprise an effective (yet inexpensive) system that can power most of our primary home appliances.

I looked this item up at Reliance Controls. While this trace is dramatically lower the right specs are a microscopic wrong. The Max Wattage is actually 7500 W not 4500 W. In any case it will encourage 30 or 20 amp generators.

I bought the product at 289$ (US) .

With shipping it totalled 308 $ (canadian $) .

It got home in a few days by UPS with an added unexpected 52$ brokerage fee which wasn't announced before hand in the shipping fees.

It is sturdy and exactly as specified in the advertizing. The accompanying documentation is complete and very well detailed. You should also consult the Utube detailed explanations offered on the manufacturers place. You can download to better belief the videos.

The installations documentation and video are complete and I could without succor install the switch.

I installed and tested the switch with the ETQ generator (5 250 Watts) which I also bought to power the house in an emergency and electric failure.

Everything works stout and according to the marketing. I power the motor of the fan on the oil blow furnace, the refrigerator, two other notable electrical circuits and even the water heater. I haven't fully tested heating up the water heater though in a prolonged region so that I can't vouch for this result. According to the specs it should be ok as it requires 4 000 Watts for this appliance.

Great product.

Great tool. What a scanner should be. This is another world from the urge and software efficiency you have in the average scanner and All In One Printers. So I am jubilant to have both a AIO contrivance and this mammoth tool for document management.

My use:

Now all the invoices and in general, all my printed documents are converted into searchable pdf into an easy to access archive.

I can recover from a fax or a printed document and edit it in word or excel tables or iWork and set aside a lot of time retyping

Business cards are archived in a short time and included in my address book and so also on my iPhone.

PLUS

A single, easy to consume, application manages the very rapidly scanning and efficient OCR conversion of printed documents outputting directly in searchable PDF, Word, Excel, email attachment, address book and VCF contacts. Also business card OCR is collected effective and the limit is due to exclusive character and graphics and you can glean on some more creative cards.

Compared to what you net in the AIO devices and average scanners, paper handling is marvelous and errors are avoided. In the case of skipped pages (Happens rarely) a sensor warns you and display you which page is missing.

CONS

Only shortcoming is that Acrobat Pro is included in version 8.0 and not the last 9.0 but I reveal that this will change soon.

I've scanned approximately 15,000 pages with this scanner and it couldn't have been easier. I did gain the occasional "paper predicament" when the sheet feeder picked up the next page as it was feeding the original page. Clearing a pickle is trivial: pop the hide inaugurate, win the pages, snap the mask succor, continue scanning. Considering I was feeding in papers from 15 - 20 years ago, I expected the pages to occasionally stick together. This scanner is worth every penny.

But I mean this in a salubrious scheme. The ScanSnap S1500M gobbles up piles of paper at an astounding rate. One-side or two-side scanning takes the same time. I have assign honest about every type of paper through it, often of mixed sizes and types (e.g., proper and letter size, 3x5 cards, newspaper and magazine clippings, unfolded brochures) . A carrier sheet is available for crumpled, folded, or extremely thin paper. I've only had one paper spot (an odd-shaped, somewhat crumpled page that I ran without using the carrier sheet) . Clearing jams is trivially easy because of the almost straight-through paper path. I am amazed by the quality of the scans. Photos sometimes scrutinize better than the originals. It tiny and almost still. The software is easy to spend. I have seldom, if ever, had a computer peripheral that I was as glad with.
