I impartial sold my kitchenaid and purchased this machine a few weeks ago. I fancy it so far. A few things I like are the suction cups on the bottom so that the machine stays in site as it works on bigger batches. I recommend you store it on it's side, (there are rubber pads on the side to store it this intention.) It seems like if you store it flat the suction cups will wear out faster. It is a more compact construct than before, which is nice, but I am hoping it will beget up like other models have. A lot of people complain that there are a lot of pieces to dapper, I don't mind the cleaning aspect, but virtually everything is dishwasher friendly if that's an remark for you. (I always hand wash mine because I assume it holds up better.) It's a larger capacity mixer and does a better job with my doughs than any other mixer I've worn. .
Like the other reviewer, I also have had this machine (a similar european version which is 1000W and came with the metal mixing bowl) for only a few weeks. It also replaces a much-loved Kitchen Befriend mixer which I had in the States. I must say that as mighty as I loved my Kitchen Encourage, this Bosch model outperforms it. My first impression of the machine upon using it to effect bread is that it was draw too easy. After using industry-grade Hobart machines, Kitchen Encourage, Electrolux, and Kenwood for many years in work and home, Iam amazed at how well and effortlessly the Bosch kneaded the dough. I have not one time need to pickle down the sides and there is no spillage.
The capacity is truly enough to execute 4 loaves of bread at a time. The lid performs wonderfully, leaving no state for ingredients to run. Further, the removable fragment of the lid allows the most plot for adding ingredients of all home machines which I have tried. As comparisons: I exhaust an Electrolux Assistant (same capacity bowl) at work every week to beget 8 loaves of bread and am frustrated with every batch as the ingredients leap over the backside of the bowl every time no matter how diligently I guard it. The splash guard on my Kitchen Wait On I also found to be undersized for adding dry ingredients and I spilled them every time, in the waste removing the guard completely. The kneading mechanism looks outlandish as it has a stationary dough blade as well as a dough hook, but it functions beautifully.
The double wisk works well to mix cake batters. I cannot yet give an belief on its wisk ability regarding cream or eggwhites as I have not had occasion to test that yet. The beaters snap on and off of the head (distinguished like ancient beaters) for easier cleaning and storage.
The plastic blender is of solid and sturdy material and the lid locks onto the blender bowl in addition to hving a rubber seal. The blender is driven by a second roter hidden under a removable conceal on the tower piece of the mixer contaminated. It locks securely on the unfriendly and is as remarkable as any free-standing blender I have veteran. Support in mind that I do have a 1000W model, so your 800W experience may be slightly different.
Clean up is the only more complicated allotment of the process. There are not so many more parts, but the form makes it trickier to smart properly. With a tower in the middle of the mixing bowl, it unprejudiced dull takes more attention and time to well-organized and the angles of the dough hook makes it a bit trickier than the Kitchen Abet. The wisks are no more difficult than any balloon wisk. All this said, I am so overjoyed with the machine that I actually relish the more complicated desirable up as I procure to baby it. And as the other reviewer distinguished, most parts are dishwasher suitable.
